The opportunity to continue supporting the DoD and military outside of Active Duty and be part of something bigger. I really enjoyed the culture and the business structure that Nick had developed and I knew that was a place where I could get in and grow, as well as excel my career.
What do you do at Geo Owl?
I’m the Staffing Manager, I ensure that we staff qualified candidates to our missions to continue to support our contracts.
Favorite part of being the Staffing Manager?
It gives me the ability to work for our military personnel and helping them into their next career path. It’s my favorite part of staffing and supporting that community.
Do you have any hobbies? If so, what?
Boating and fishing. I like hanging out with my wife and kid when we have down time and getting outside on the water.
What is your favorite book and why?
I really liked The Way of the Wolf, it broke down sales and how people think and act, there was a lot of psychology in it and how you speak to people, and how he became a multi-millionaire. I found it very introspective.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1114″ img_size=”full”][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text]Where do you see yourself five years from now?
I would love to be in a Project Management role still supporting the DoD and continue growing my career.
What advice would you give to other people in your career field?
Stay positive, “embrace the suck”, you’re going to get a lot of rejection in recruiting just like you would in sales. It’s how you overcome that adversity and rise from those failures that makes you a good recruiter.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
